About Us
Parks Now is a broad coalition of experts, activists, and community leaders from across California who are concerned about the state of our public parks.
Our mission is to encourage elected leaders throughout the state to finally take meaningful action towards improving the parks system. Not all of our members are long time parks advocates: many represent communities of color, and others are experts in public health or other relevant fields. However, all of us are united in the belief that our parks can and should do better.
